Meet Annette
Hi, I'm Annette—the heart behind Collectively Yours.
I've always been drawn to bringing people together and creating experiences that leave a lasting impression. Whether it's a celebration, a shared meal, or a simple gathering, I believe some of life's most meaningful memories are created when people feel connected, valued, and fully present in the moment.
In 2021, I began working with a wedding venue in Powhatan and alongside a wedding planner who became an incredible mentor. It was there that I fell in love with the wedding industry—not because of the details and logistics, but because of the people, the stories, and the emotions behind every celebration. That experience sparked a passion that has since grown into coordinating and planning nearly 100 weddings and events.
That same passion for creating meaningful experiences inspired me to launch Dolce Darling, a boutique dessert experience designed to bring people together through handcrafted gelato, affogatos, and interactive dessert experiences. What began as a unique way to celebrate life's special moments has allowed me to witness firsthand the joy that comes from creating connection, sparking conversation, and giving guests something to remember long after the event ends.
Along the way, I discovered what I love most: creating experiences that make people feel seen, valued, and genuinely cared for. There's nothing more rewarding than watching a couple put down their phones, look around, and fully embrace the love, joy, and connection surrounding them.
When I'm not planning celebrations, you'll likely find me spending time with my miniature schnauzer, Presley, exploring a new destination, or dreaming up creative ways to bring people together. I believe some of life's best memories are made through shared experiences, whether that's traveling somewhere new, gathering around a table with loved ones, or celebrating life's biggest milestones.
At Collectively Yours, I lead with my heart. My goal is to create meaningful experiences that reflect your story, honor what matters most to you, and allow you to be fully present in the moments you'll remember for years to come. Because at the end of the day, the most beautiful celebrations aren't just seen—they're felt.
